Géry Leloutre

Géry Leloutre (°1979, Brussels) is an architect (ISAVH 2002) and urbanist (KULeuven 2006) based in Brussels at the consultancy Karbon’, which he co-founded, and teaches at the ULB Faculty of Architecture. In 2007, he edited the Brussels urbanism review BrU and was also involved in founding AWB. In practice and research he consistently expresses a continuous and critical reflection on urban planning as a discipline, through the process of crystallisation of the urban form as well as the dynamics of urbanisation. A specialist in post-war urban construction, he also helps coordinate a research programme on urbanisation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
