Francis Schoups strongly believes in the power of design to unravel complex issues in order to explore solution-oriented, connecting future paths.
Driven by the transition of our living environment, he has been part of Architecture Workroom since September 2024, working on projects at the landscape and neighbourhood level. In this role, he contributes to the implementation and guidance of integrated area processes, bringing together different actors and challenges.
Francis grew up in Antwerp and studied civil engineering/architecture at Ghent University. His master’s thesis, ‘Inheriting Mennes: sewerage works for the Antwerp Agglomeration’, was awarded the Urban Planning Prize of the department. After his studies, he continued his education with a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban and Territorial Design at ETH Zurich.
