Aslı Çiçek

Aslı Çiçek (° 1978, Istanbul) obtained her master diploma in 2004 from the Architecture and Design department of Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In 2005 she settled in Belgium where she worked as project architect at Gigantes Zenghelis Architects and Robbrecht en Daem architecten. She is associate professor at Hasselt University, Faculty of Architecture and Arts and guest professor at Ghent University, Department of Architecture and Urban Planning. Between 2009 and 2020 she has been a tutor in several design ateliers at KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture, in the campuses Brussels and Ghent. She regularly contributes to architectural magazines and publications, was the co-editor of the 11th Flemish Architectural Review and is since 2017 in the editorial board of OASE architecture journal. In 2015 she founded her practice with a focus on exhibition architecture. She lives and works in Brussels.
