AWB, together with Filip Canfyn (Rebel) and Marleen Goethals (UAntwerp), completed the study for 'The exploration of multifunctional use of space for the 22 community centres in Brussels'. This study assignment fits in with the policy objectives of the Flemish Community Commission to actively deploy multifunctional use for the built patrimony, and in particular the 22 community centres, in the future. The aim of this assignment is threefold: (1) the preparation of a well-founded and multi-layered analysis of the community centres; (2) the development of a participatory process with the various parties involved; and (3) the exploration of a shared vision of the future.

The results of this study will be published shortly. A final moment of feedback will take place with representatives of the 22 community centres and other relevant stakeholders to discuss the next steps.
