Vacancy— Interim Communication & Documentation support (m/v)

Due to an increased pressure on our communication during the intense program of events (lectures, debates, workshops) in the context of the exhibition You Are Here at WTC in Brussels, is Architecture Workroom (AW) looking for a temporary support for You Are Here communication and documentation, from now until mid-december.

Job description

The activities will include:

- responsible for the day-to-day follow up, make and follow the retro-planning of the communication and documentation;

- managing social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

- preparing announcements (posters, information sheet, ...) per event;

- activating specific target groups (such as students, children, local residents, ...);

- follow up on documenting the events (photography, video recordings, ...) by third parties;

- management of the documentation and archiving;

- preparation of newsletters;

- preparation concept reporting in function of possible publication, documentary video and website / online platform www.architectureworkroom.eu;

- all this in support of a dynamic and committed team of young employees;

- for the period from ‘as soon as possible’ to 15 December 2018.

 

 

Profile

- graduate or university degree in communication;

- enthusiastic, positive and motivated;

- sociable and able to work in team;

- pro-active, problem-solver;

- well organized, stress resistant and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities;

- fluent in Dutch, French and/or English;

- good writing skills;

- able to lead projects independently and to pro actively execute the activities that result from this;

- hands-on, proactive, inventive and results-oriented;

- eager to learn, interest in social and spatial issues, particularly in relation to climate change and urbanization, and prepared to take the complexity as a starting point;

- interested in cultural production (organising exhibitions, public events, etc.) is a plus.

 

Offer

We offer an interim position (3-5 days a week) of a fixed duration, starting as soon as possible till 15 December 2018. 

Salary and the terms of employment are in accordance with the difficulty of the position, suitable for a small socio-cultural organization and depending on qualifications and experience (PC 329.01).
